‘Tis the season for pumpkins

Instructions

Warm one cup of milk in a small pot over medium heat until it is very warm and frothy.

Once heated thoroughly, add the pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanlla one by one.

Turn down the heat to low and continue stirring with a whisk until blended properly.

Whisk until the mixture is frothy and transfer to a mug of your choice.

If desired, top with whipped cream and sprinkle with additional pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon for added fall flair.

Pumpkin spice drink, ready to be enjoyed!

Ingredients

• 1 cup of milk
• 1⁄4 cup of canned pumpkin puree
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• Whipped cream (optional)
• Cinnamon

Notes

You may make this recipe dairy free by replacing the milk with soy or unsweetened almond milk. Mixing the drink with coffee turns it into a fall favorite, the pumpkin spice latte!
