Nobody is ever too old for Halloween

How old is too old for Halloween? The real question should be how old is too old for trick or treating.

You are never to old to go out and enjoy Halloween. You can dress up, hang out with friends, play video games, watch a scary movie, go to costume parties, or hang out candy to kids in the neighborhood. As long as it is creepy, spooky, and scary, there are a lot of things you can do to enjoy Halloween as an adult.

Just because you’re too old to go knocking on your neighbor’s doors for candy, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a holiday where everyone gets to dress up as someone else for a night. There are many more things to do besides go out and get candy on Halloween.

Some could argue that one can never be too old to go trick or treating and if you’re a kid at heart, what better way to do have fun than putting on a terrifying costume and knocking on some poor lady’s door asking for candy.

No one is too old for Halloween fun. One year, some friends and I were planning on playing an airsoft game around Halloween time. One of the guys suggested that we play at night and in our costumes, so we did just that. We had a blast, and I would still would call that celebrating Halloween, even if it wasn’t sticking with the traditions of the holiday.

You don’t even have to wear a costume to enjoy the holiday. Haunted corn mazes, Scarywood, creepy movies, and even midnight walks with someone you care about: all of these things help make Halloween memorable and fun, even into adulthood.

Let me ask you something, are you going to just stop having fun when you’re older? Are you going to stop scaring your sister or friends for kicks, are you gonna completely stop eating candy as a yearly treat? If you answer any of these questions with NO, then you’re definitely not too old for Halloween.

So this Halloween grab some of your friends, be they 14 or be they 39, and go scare the pants off some unsuspecting neighborhood kids. Pillage some candy from your neighbors, pretend you’re a zombie, and go out and have some good old fashioned Halloween fun.
