Kadence Wenzl is currently a sophomore at Spokane Falls Community College. She has been the editor-in-chief of the Communicator for 2 quarters as well as reporter for the last 5 quarters. After completing her Associates degree at The Falls, she hopes to continue her college education majoring in Mass Media Journalism. She has written a number of stories and intends to stay on staff until she graduates, building her portfolio and maximizing successes for The Communicator. Kadence also was accepted into the FIRE student press freedom initiative’s 2025 Free Press Workshop and will attend with a couple of her peers and she attended the College Media Association Convention in New York. Her plan post-education is to pursue a career and make her way as a journalist.
