Kadence Wenzl is currently a freshman at Spokane Falls Community College apart of Ferris High School’s running start program. She does reporting for the Communicator as well as managing social media accounts. After completing her Associates of Arts degree at The Falls, she hopes to continue her college education majoring in Investigative Communications. She has written a number of stories and intends to stay on staff until she graduates. Building her portfolio and maximizing successes for The Communicator. Kadence also was accepted into the FIRE student press freedom initiative’s 2025 Free Press Workshop and will attend with a couple of her peers. Her plan post-education is to pursue a career and make her way as an investigative journalist.
