The Spokane Falls Community College Intramural sports is about to begin.

Intramural normally offers more activities in the Spring, but there still are sport offered during fall.

You can get a signup sheet from the Fitness Building (BLDG 7) at SFCC and its a $30 entry for non Students who want to play.

“Its not too late, people can still come and sign up for Fall quarter” Bruce Johnson the organizer of the Intramural sports and coach of the women’s basketball team said.

“With the closing of the bowling alley at the beginning of Fall quarter it makes it so we can’t hold bowling intramurals but the other game room activities should still be happening.” Johnson said.

Individuals can come and play with the teams from SFCC and entire teams can join the intramural sports program.

Students can participate in the Intramural Sports for free.

The game room is open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. The SFCC clubs get first choice to reserve the game room. The game room can also be rented by people outside of campus on the weekends.

“We have hosted pool, ping-pong, and Billiards tournaments in the game room,” Penny Butters said.

Whether you play a major sport or enjoy your time holding a pool cue, SFCC’s Intramural sports might have something for you.
