As lead instructor of the Journalism Program, Jason Nix is the Adviser for the Communicator and the Journalism Club here at The Falls.  He also currently teaches English. Jason was an award winning journalist for the Opelika-Auburn News in Alabama and the Brunswick News of Georgia. Previously, he was English Language Coordinator for a bilingual school in the Dominican Republic. He has completed training at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies, the University of Southern California and was educated at Auburn University. He is a 2004 National Endowment for the Arts fellow.
